The downloading part of the Galium OS can be interesting as they have a couple of ISOs to choose from based on the code names of Intel CPUs, so in my list, I listed all the Chromebooks in 2021 on which you can install a Linux Distro on, so that you can easily know what ISO you need to download. a Person can either install it alongside Chrome OS or replace Chrome OS with it and Galium is a great OS for Chromebooks as they only support it and provide great instructions and forums.
It is a fully up to date version and it looks great. I know of people who installed Ubuntu and Zorin OS, and you can do it for sure, but there is an Ubuntu 18.04 LTS distro with the XFCE desktop environment that can only be installed on a Chromebook and that is Galium OS. So a Chromebook can be a fantastic way to get a cheap or a powerful system to have a full-blown Linux system, and it can even have a touch screen or transformer. This is one of the special things about Chromebooks, as Chrome OS is based on Linux, most other Linux Distros works great on it. Today we are going to look at all the Chromebooks on which a person can install a full and complete version of GNU/Linux on.
