When compared to the previous-generation Mac, they deliver: Short version: Users can expect a smoother and more effective experience on their devices thanks to Apple’s new M2 and M2 Pro chips, which represent a substantial upgrade in terms of performance and speed. These new chips offer a 10–20% increase in CPU speed as well as a 25% increase in graphics performance. The M2 and M2 Pro chips outperform their predecessors, the M1 and M1 Pro chips, in terms of performance.
